Sample Stories is an eclectic show that explores the contested and versatile practice of sampling in contemporary music. Each episode focuses on a different artist, genre or trend’s sampling style to reveal its influences and aesthetic. Previous shows have included deep dives into Memphis Rap, Grime and the use of folk samples in UK Hardcore, as well as individual episodes on pop pioneers Rosalia and Solange.
